Aftermath, a 501(c)3 charity organization founded after the mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois in 2022, hosted a gathering in Washington D.C. for fellow survivors who have been impacted by gun violence.
As well as gathering to share their stories of living in the aftermath of such violence, Mr. Green and other community leaders based throughout the country were able to go to the Office of Gun Violence Prevention at the White House to hear about the initiatives that are being implemented to help curtail gun violence throughout the United States.
It is important to continue to support each member of the growing community of survivors of mass shootings and gun violence, as we continue our advocacy for a safer and more thoughtful world.
